London in the future

Isaac Asimov

I think Asimov should be considered one of the great philosophers of thr 20th century, as well as a writier and a biochemist. His books analize the society future in a critic way and shape tomorrow's world. His Foundation series is one the the sagas that have most impressed me.

I chose the quote from 'Foundation's edge' because in that book he talked about Gaia, the supermind that could mean the future and the salvation of the Galaxy.

The adventures of  Golan Trevize gave him, in 1983, his fifth Hugo award, the second for this serie that had also been awarded in 1966.

Jules Verne

In my opinion, one of the best writers ever. I guess that as many others, you may have travelled with him to the center or the Earth, under the sea, in a ballon, in a rocket or may have lived exciting, enthrallling and amusing adventures. I do not know how many, as myself, were taken by his hand in the path of reading. Neither how may were encouraged by his books to follow their dreams, to live their lifes with passion, to discovered the limit of innovation is the limit of our own imagination.
